silver- 07 chevy
looking at turbo a stock 4..8l chevy silverado need a 6sp?
Seeing if anyone else has swaped out the 4speed for a 6 speed. Not really looking at taking it to the strip. Just for a weekend driver an pulling a car now an then.
I think the 6speed may be better to build up some boost with the 4.8. Would like to add some fuel an air upgrades to compensate for the turbo. Not looking for any crazy power maybe 8-10psi somthing reliable to drive long distance an not have issues with.
Let me know if there is any build thread or tips you may have.
Thanks again

I agree with the above.
Boost gets you laid, unless your name is Jon.

With a turbo in mind, auto is the way to go. You can't shift a stick fast enough to keep boost up. Auto is the preferred choice with that power adder.
