looking for a stall
I been looking for a stall lately. i have been seeing ton but would any type of stall work or are they tranmisson specific?

i am a dumbass. i answered my own question but, what about one made for a LT1 would work? i am seeing alot of them

here's a better explanation why you can't use it OEM to OEM like you asked

the 97 fbody has the LT1/GEN I/II style engine. the only way it would work would be if you had the converter shop swap the input shaft spline thing inside the converter to mate to the LS1 trans input shaft and have them put on the LS1 flywheel bolt pattern ring on. would be a complete waste of time.Last edited by joedude02; 03-24-2010 at 03:34 PM.

Best bet is to call whatever trans shop is a sponser on here and tell them what you wanna do with your car and they can get you what you need. I'm ordering mine from circle d which is a local shop to me so if anything goes wrong I can het a new one or have it fixed asap.
