looking for a 4l60e core
looking for a core to do a build on, the question is what 4l60e cores would work, does it have to 4th gen specific ? done alot of searching and havent found the info i'm looking for, just wondering incase i came across something i could use, thanks for any help

If your an LS1 then I think it would need to be an ls1 core unless you plan on changing to bigger input shaft, 5 pinion plants and a different drum then it is a moog point and all you need is a case to build on. If your not going bullet proof then you need the correct input shaft so I think any ls1 Fbody and maybe a GTO case might work. Is yours a 2 peice case or 3 peice case?

didnt know they came with a 3 piece case too ? but it's looking like i might have found an f-body case, i'm going to be taking the next few months to do this, looking at superior/fairbanks serovs, 13 vane pump, red eagle bands and clutches, hardened input shaft drum assembly, hardened reaction shell and bearing, 3000 stall... that's about what i got lined up right now.... need to set down with my buddy to figure out the rest..
