Locking or Non-Locking TC?
I'm thinking of getting a Vigilante 3200 and I don't know which one to get... 9.5", 10.5".... wtf? I've got 3:23 gears (for now, hopefully 3:73 soon) and stock 4L60E (for now). Is there a part number I should be looking for? Oh and who's got the best price?

Moved to the correct forum.
I run the same converter. Just ask any of our Sponsors, they can help you out.
3200 stall with a 2.0 STR should be fine.Black 1999 Blown Convertible A4

Non-locking TCs are for old muscle cars or drag race use only. They reduce your fuel milage due to more rpms required to sustain previous speeds. The Vig3200 is by far the best street/strip converter I have ever experienced, it is a 9.5" lock up unit and can give upto .88 second reduction in your ETs (my results with ET Streets). Stock converters are lock up units btw.

Not to mention the extra heat you'll build cruising unlocked all the time.
