'02 White, '95 Black- '02 Camaro B4C, '95 9C1
Its Time for a Transmission Rebuild. . .
After 130K miles, the 4L60E in my '02 B4C Camaro is severely slipping in the top two gears (3rd and O/D). I guess I should be happy the trans has lasted as long as it has. . . I found a competent guy who can rebuld it for me, but I need to know a couple of things:
What kind of heavy-up parts, etc. should I request for the rebuild ? I don't race the car, but I would really like to have a better transmission than I had before, as regards good shifting, reliability and longevity.
Also, I guess its a good idea to also replace the torque convertor too, so is a stock-spec convertor OK, or should I go for something else ?
Anyone out there in the collective have any suggestions ?
Thanks a lot.
