how much should a trans pump install cost

my mechanic just called me and said he had to install a new trans pump. so how much do you think it should cost to have the trans pulled pump put in and the trans put back in????include would be the cost of labor, pump and trans fluid. the one thing i did not like is he put in a good used pump and not a re-built pump. he said its gonna cost me $475.00 to pick the car up. is this a fair price??
