How hard is it??
How hard is it to pull the trans on a 2000 Z28 A4? I have talked to several people that said to can be done but it is pretty much impossible with out a lift.. I would really like to do it my self and save the extra money. Thanks for you help

Sorry this is late....
I pulled my A4 in my garage with just jack stands and regular jack. It's not all that tough. It just may be a little scary when you drop the tranny with your jack. I used a wood platform, and strapped it to the jack to stabilize it. I just didn't want to have it fall off. The entire removal with converter install, and then reinstall took me 14 hours. I think 2 hours were with those lousey e-clips on the trans lines!
