help no third gear!!

yea all of a sudden i lost third gear goin down the road.....it just free revs. first and second are perfect and can still do burnouts and they dont slip or anything. reverse seems fine also. but third gear just isnt there. my car tranny had a total rebuile bout 2 years ago and its all beefier parts so is shouldnt brake but i just want some input on what yal think the problem is

Sorry - thats what mine did - 3rd/4th clutch need to be replaced - overhaul time - What RWHP are you running?

Just because you have all the upgraded parts does not mean it wont break what it does mean that its less likley and will hold up longer, But as ask what power levels are you running?

i dunno what im runnin for hp but all i got done is whisper lid with k&n, msd wires, bosch 4 prong iridium plugs, modified maf with no screen, catless exhaust with o2 sims, goldline suspention drop 2 1/2 inches, custom tranny with THE BEAST sun shell, and a medium shift kit from fairbanks

also last year ran a 13.7 with 2.73 rear end gears

273 gears are hard on a trans, And with those gears thats not a bad time at all
