    Question has anyone heard anything about this trans kit

    hughes performance race kit for 4l60e
    -kit includes-
    -kolene steeles, red alto race frictions, kevlar lined race band, paper and rubber kit, sealing rings, seals, filter, modulator, washers, and bushings
    im running a 02 z28 and i think the A4 might go soon.

    sounds good to me. its all about the install tho. your input drum is very important...get that beefed up if you can.

    I would not use the Alto Red clutches, or the Kevlar band. Use the factory Borg Warner Hi-Energy band or the extra wide Alto Carbon band. For clutches use 8 Borg Warner Hi-Energy clutches, as these have proven themselves to hold up to high HP. The Alto Reds for the 700R4/4L60E do not have a good history, and the Kevlar band even worse.

    what do you recomend for me, cause i dont plan on going over 500 hp, might, but not any time soon. plus i like the website.

    The Sreet/Strip is buildup is the most widely used kit. What torque converter do you plan on using?

    i dont know much about transmissions, what do you recomend, something that will give good launches, but also lets me drive down the street.
