    Daily driver best stall size

What would be the best stall size to get on my daily driven Z28? I'm thinking of somewhere between 2600. I know they have a lock and won't affect my hwy mpg but on city driving I dont want it to kill my millage. What size would you guys recomend and brands? thanks!

You wouldn't see significant gains at the track to justify a 2600. Just because it is a 3600 stall (lets just say) does not mean it will require you to rev it up to 3600 to move from a stop sign. They can be tuned to lock up around town at certain speeds. You're going to sacrifice some mpg that's just the name of the game. Unless you get vtec.

Yeah I know I'll still sacrifice some mpg but I dont want to sacrifice that much. Oh that is great that you can get a tune for city driving i didn't know that thanks! So would a 3500 be a good choice? I also heard that yank is a good brand for torque converters

3500-3800 range is good for daily driving.

Yes a trans cooler is necessary. It is even recommended on stock stall cars.

You'll be happier with the Yank.
