cracking noise on hard acceleration
I just purchased my first fourthgen f body. It's a 98 z28. I noticed a weird noise during hard acceleration, that sounds like metal teeth slippage. I don't know much about this cars now, and I could not find anything with a search on the boards.
The noise comes from under the car close to the tranny, only when I accelerate the car enough to almost spin the tires and also when second gear engages hard.
If anyone has info or if this problem sounds famyliar please et me know.
Thanks in advance.
