    A4 ws6

2000 ws6 shifting funny, just started tonight never done this before. I hoped in and started to drive off and the rpm's were hanging going to about 3000 before it would shift itself. The car still goes into every gear and lock-up, not slipping either that I can tell, if you get on it the down shift is like always grabs and goes its the normal driving up through the gears that's different. When I go from park to D it hits in there hard jumps the car even when on the break but not as bad when going into R. The line pressure is tuned in the car but have never had a problem.

I might be able to, but if it was a code wouldn't I have a light on the dash?

The scanner can also show "pending codes" that have not yet set off the SES light.
