    2003 Silverado SS

    4L65E making it stronger

    Hey guys
    What do i need to do on a 4L65E(2003 Silverado SS) so i could handle well about 600 hp?? Any ideas?? Im planning on a 600 hp engine in that truck but i figured out that the stock tranny maybe woulnt handle so much horses. What do you guys think???

    I would assume you would need to beef up the internals. I'm sure they have a rebuild kit spec'd for that kind of power. Definitely need a better torque converter.

    Aaand that's about all I got. I'm more of a manual transmission guy so my knowledge is limited. Free bump though lol
