02 LS1 w/ Auto 19k miles
Sometimes on WOT the transmission won't kick down into a lower gear. The car still pulls but I'm not getting the extra RPM I want. Anyonw have any ideas?

blacker than wesleysnipes- 98' trans am
yeah i know what you are talking about..that is normal ..it is when you are going to fast to be downshifted but not yet into the meat of the current gear so it just pulls kind of "ehhh"....that is why you should learn your sweet spots like 25, 45, 60-65 (those are mine.) with the lower speed ..that would be solved by a stall. but the higher speed ones ..it is just the name of the game.

3600 Converter = No more dead spots.
Trans cooler
This will really wake up your car, you will love the difference in how your car performs. When you add a set of drag radials to the equation the car is really fun to drive, but the stock 10 bolt will be on borrowed time.

Has it always done it or something new? computer controls you shift points so either something is off there or one of the engine sensors is off and causing it to not want to down shift or pressures in the trans is off. If you have changed aything like Throtle bodies or had a tune done those would be my first stop.

Apparently the computer was stuck on girly mode. I don't get a chance to get on the car too often but since I have been playing around with it, it knows what I want. Now I can get the traction control to kick in from a 30 MPH WOT.

2002 Z28 A4 NBM- Sadly now demodded :(
You need to have TCS off for it to do what you want.
My 02 roasts the tires (starts going sideways on me) and barks gear shifts at will when I have street tires on. This is why I got a plate reading "TIRFRYR"...
See sig. Mind you it's not stock...67 Camaro: K-K + 797-z (look it up), 454/Th400/4.10 12-bolt = 6mpg, PS/PDB/PW tilt, tach, gauges...
2005 Corvette LS2/M6 Magnetic Red Metallic (What else would it be?) w/ Cashmere interior
2002 Z28: NBM/Tan, MTI smooth lid, smooth bellows, !AIR, !cats, 1-3/4" QTP SS LT's, 2-1/2" TD's with X-pipe, MagnaFlows dumped at axle, custom welded SFC's, MidWest Chassis body mount adjustable T/A, 3400 stall, 3.23 gears (was 2.73). Tuned: 343rwhp/357rwt (before TD's). Best: 12.559 @ 108+, 1.73 60' @ 3500' DA w/MT ET Street DR's.
