Z28 K&N air filter on a Z06?
I was just doing the "zip tye" mod to my 2002 Z06, and found that the air filter was filthy.
I have a KN filter off of a 2002 Z28 that I had a few years ago, and the filter is the exact same size as the Delco that came off of the Vette.
I checked the part numbers on line, and they use the same AC Delco filter number, but K&N list different part numbers.
Anyone know something about this?
If it fits properly, I think I'm going to use it.

I just checked K&N's website, and the only difference is the Vette filter is 1/8" shallower.
This should work fine, because the OEM filter is about 1/2" deeper than the Z28 K&N filter.
