    Y-pipe to X-pipe

I went to a local muffler shop wanting to get a true dual set-up done for my future mod list and they said it cant be done? WTF! Any advice on how to get this done would be helpful to say the least. What surprises me is that there the ones that did my ORY set-up and did a great job, I figured they would handle this no problem

There are plenty of people on here with true dual setups. Get some pictures of their setups and take them with you when you go in. Are you looking to go over axle, or dumped?

I dont want to dump it, I have the center mount exhaust so I would like to keep that look if possible.

There are even a couple guys that have gone under the axle with their TD setups. Here's a pic I found on the site.

The owner of that setup said he's changed it out recently to go over the axle. Didn't say why though. Here's that thread, perhaps you could pose that question there.

Another setup, although not over axle, but may give your exhaust guy some ideas.

    Dumped

    Same setup under the axle

    Over axle, tough to see

I personally would do it yourself. Don't have a shop do it, I have true duals they aren't quite on yet but almost there. But any shop that tells you that it can't be done is either 1. don't know what they are talking about or 2. just doesn't want to do it. You could always do dumps and then have the pipe extended to go over or under the axle later or at the same time. I am going to get mine extended once I get my duals on.
