    Question xtune shorty headers

xtune shorty headers...any thoughts? I like um'. Bolt-on, less weight, ceramic coating(big deal), not to expensive, good fit...

It was the shorties or stock. Lack of funds. Decided to do other mods with $. I was thinking of LTs, but heck these work fine! They are the cheap Ebay ones. Car dyno @ 315rwhp and 332rwtq with slowmaster at rear and stock y-pipe. Got rid of the slowmaster. May upgrade to LTs, or not. Anyone else try em'.

I saw them on Ebay. Everyone I talked to says to not waste my money on shorties....no matter what brand. I was told if I was going to upgrade, just go long tube and there will be a huge difference. The only thing is that where I live I don't have to worry about emission stuff.

I was concerned about emissions, still wanted stock cats, and they wanted too much for LTs, too much for installation....for now this will work. I may try LTs now that I have better understanding of LS1 and $$$! Anyone have dyno proof? How much diff do LTs make? Worse case, I lost the heavy stock manifolds.

Do you have link? How much diff are we talking? Hmmmmmmm....tax return? Not enough though. I wonder what the diff is between stock and shorties too? A few extra HP is not going to get me to open my wallet after getting over 300rwhp with the shorties. Glad I spent money on the tune!
