    Is it worth it

My mods are: Catback, lid and a ported TB. Will an LS6 intake be worth it or not. I dont have headers yet but maybe during xmas. Will i see an increase in HP or is it not worth the $

if i was on the market for an intake, i would save for a little longer and get the LSX intake90mm and 90mmthrottle body- you'll spend probably twice as much but from eerything ive heard the potential is much greater with each and every after mod- thats just what i would do- but on the other hand, the ls6 is a 10 horse mod that is under $700- you might be able to find one used for around 2-300.. its up to you- but i think the LSX is worth 20-30 with the TB- by themselves... whatever you decide good luck and enjoy the painstaking bloody knuckle time with a buddy sharing install- i know i would- :P

For the money spent on the LS6 Intake, you will be disappointed with the minimal power increase, adding more cubic inches and/or better heads and cam with long tube hedders will bring out the best the larger intake has to offer.
To me, it's one of those "just because you can, doesn't mean you should" mods.
