    Will LS2 intake fit on a 2000 LS1??

Seen more of these on ebay than the ls6 intakes. Which is best upgrade? Can't affrod the Fass but maybe able to get one of these if price is right? Can 243 heads be used with the LS2 intake? Thanks

    Yes.

LS6 intake is better on the LS1 though.
The LS2 is inbetween the LS1 and LS6 intakes on the 346.

    Intake

Ok will hold out for the LS6. Would the 243's LS6 intake texas speed majik stick be good combo? What Throttle body and mass air will i need? Trying to do this little at time. ANything else i may need, LS6 oil pump? I have a set of long tube headers all ready just haven' tput them on. Going to be part time driver with some NOS. Try to take it easy till i can get 12 bolt or 9" rear. Thanks

Stay with the stock mass air flow sensor. It is the only one that is calibrated perfect for our cars.
MS4 is a large cam, but does well with nitrous.

If the 243's are off the car, get them worked. If you can.

LS6 intake, MS4, 243's, longtubes would be a stout car. That cam would want some steep gears though.
When you do the cam swap, might as well upgrade the oil pump and timing chain.

    Intake

ok just kinda digging what i want to do, limited funds right now. Need stall and probably 3.73's or 4.10's. What about trottle body? Will the LS6 one work? ANy other hints? What about a programmer, or should i get ecm flashed? Missed a set of 317's on ebay that were cnc'd today for $260 complete. They would have been better than my stockers. Is there anyother heads to lean toward as far as stock castings? Thanks for input.

Your stock throttle body will mount to the LS6 intake.

Handheld programmers suck in my opinion. Not powerful enough, and their base toons are a joke.

As for the heads, you can always have your stockers worked.

Well one more option i had thought of, what about an LQ9? I would have to swap intke i know but is that all i would have to do to put it in a 2000 Z-28?

    Pretty much just the intake.
If you go that route, remember it is an iron block over the stock aluminum. Adds 85 pounds to the front of the car.
