who uses a oil catch can?

I was wondering how many guys/girls on here use a catch can?

I go to alot of car shows and I see very few (if any), so the question is, would it help me if I put one on my engine?

Before anybody asks I do not run the car down the drag strip. I just drive the car on the street. And its 100% stock motor.

I've had one on since I got it, on both engines. If you're using the OEM POS PCV then definitely get one.

With you being an 02, I would do the LS6 Valley Tray swap and catch can.

Good news is you won't have to notch the block unlike us 98-01's.

Here's the thread to look over.

Been running one for a few years now. Stock PCV had rotted away so I changed everything over to -6 hose and fittings with the Mishimoto baffled can.

I’ve been eyeing one for a while, and am about to pull the trigger on a basic model Elite Engineering catch can. A bunch of people run them, because LS1s have a tendency to feed oil into the intake.

Running without one for 211k miles so far but I want a dry intake charge, up until the injectors; I also want to at a T connector inline so I can run SeaFoam through intake from time to time to clean the valves and combustion chamber.

I also don't feel like swapping over to the LS6 plate.

One of the best things I did for my 02 SS to replace the external hose. I did have to notch out the area in order to fit the valley cover and tray.
