whats the best sounding muffler
I like magnaflow, flowmaster and slp LM1 and LM2. Im looking for a more deeper sound rather then a raspy and crackle sound. what should i go with. im gonna have a big cam in here and longtubes as well.

Blue Metalic Silver- 2001 Z28
I like the Magnaflow muffler as well, but I would also choose Borla as a second choice.

I have the 40 series on my Grand Cherokee. I don't care about the flow on that thing, just the sound.

I had the same question and im currently in the testing stages myself, i have pacesetter lt,ory and have tried borla, slowmaster, slp dual/dual and currently have a catback i just found out bout and out of the ones i'v tried it sounds the meanest under full throttle and nice rumble at idle. The inside of the muffler is straight thru. I was surprised.
the catback is by flopro

Red Tint Jewelcoat- 2008 Trailblazer SS
I like Magnaflow.
And the flowmaster sounds good (any series) but flows terrible (any series).
At least in comparison to other mufflers.
They do at least outflow stock parts.2008 Trailblazer SS

With longtubes and a cam, stick with either a magnaflow or dynomax muffler. Loud, deep, no rasp, sounds great. Also, make sure to get high flow cats. Cam and longtubes will both make the exhaust louder.
Without cats, it will be raspy and will cackle.
Borla is raspy IMO.
Loudmouth is raspy and cackles as well.
Then, if you want louder, you can always weld in an electronic cutout. Loud as you like, when you want.2002 Trans Am 6sp, SLP lid, Holley filter, Shaner S3 TB, Jet Hot long tubes and cats, FRA, HP tuners, Hotchkis STB and LCAs.
