i would say no unless you plan on getting headers, because if you do, then you'll have to get a new y or have that on really modified

^^^ if you plan on getting headers in the future the Y pipe you buy now wont work with headers. I have the loudmouth 1 right now, but I am getting rid of it because im getting headers. To many people are saying how it sounds raspy and like a garbage truck w/headers. Dont get me wrong it sound awesome on stock manifolds, just like a racecar imo. Im doing QTP LT's with TSP true duals. No Y pipe needed with that system.

Not much if any gain in performance or sound by changing just the y pipe.

I have heard of people getting small gains from replacing the flattened pary of the factory y pipe which i assume you are talking about that. personally i am going to get a custom true duals setup from my stock cats and manifolds back.
