What would an exhaust be that sounds close GMMG?

Without costing the same? I love how loud it is, the tone, but definetly cannot afford it.

    Thanks.

GMMG is a chambered exhaust set-up, which is kind of unique. From what I've read in the past, people have tried to rig up a similar set-up with knock-off exhausts and it still ended up costing somewhere around the ballpark of $400-$500, and the sound still wasn't the same.

The only other chambered muffler I know of is Stainless Works, but I don't know how the sound compares. They sell their mufflers for around $150.

I've heard it before. It's a really nice sounding exhaust. One of my favorites I think.

Yeah I listened to all those sound clips, then got on you tube and listened to more. The Gmmg was the only one that I kept coming back to. I should be able to get it after my tranny rebuild if I get blessed with a second job.

The gmmg is a really nice sounding exhaust, the only setup I can think of to sound close is a magnaflow with LTs
Gives that deep growl exhaust note

Who told you the GMMG is loud? My friend had it with stock manifolds and cats and driving behind him I couldn't hear it at all.

I definitely agree!! I heard a GMMG on a firehawk, and it was pretty quiet. I cant remember if the owner even had longtubes. But it definitely was a quiet exhaust.

Only exahust setup for sure that will sound great is Duals IMO... Got rid of magnaflow for TSP Duals with bullets. And it is an amazing sound.

I watched millions of exhaust clips on youtube. The gmmg just had a distinctive sound. Yes, I'm sure duals would be "louder, but I want different.

If the car still has the stock manifolds, old, suffocating cats, and restrictive y-pipe, you can expect it to be quieter than if you have long tube headers with 3" pipes going through a 3" ORY.

I have long tubes, ory and all emissions crap is gone, including cats. It has a Flow on it now, but I think its too quiet. I like to be unique. Lol
