Ok thats what I was thinking, but should I just go ahead and buy a new transmission that will hold more power. I plan on being a H/C/I car with a 3600 stall or maybe bigger if I need it. So should I still get a stall or should I get a new transmission first?

I would like between 450rwhp and 500rwhp. My real goal is 450 though.

First thing is to get rid of that 10 bolt in exchange for a 12 bolt. Full exhaust, lid, fast 92mm intake, cam, and heads should get you around 480 at the wheels with the right combo.

    1) suspension
    2) drive train
    3) engine mods

IMO you shouldn't even be thinking about doing H/C until the suspension and drive train are bullet proof. I've got my heads and cam sitting in boxes in my room because I haven't even finished my suspension yet

He must have had a pretty large cam...

I also took the route xmarkx has mentioned. It kinda sucks, but I don't want my shit breaking as I'm trapping speeds in excess of 100MPH at the track..or while I'm f'n around on the street.

You mentioned full exhaust, I am assuming this means LTs also? Just making sure.

I would get SFC, LCA, LCA relocation brackets, and a rear end. THEN, go H/C/I.

Yes, I have LT headers. Is that all I need as far as Suspension goes?

as far as suspension goes, the more you do the stronger your car becomes. the only exception is an after market K member. IMO that's more for weight savings then strength.

Yeah, I'm going to get the UMI 3-point Weld-in SFC. Should I just go straight into suspension and wait till I get my H/C/I set up and get it tuned or should I go ahead and get it tuned and then go to suspension?

You could get a mail order tune from FROST for now. I would continue with the suspension and rear end modding, there's plenty of work to be done, let alone money to be spent.

I wouldn't worry about a tune until you do H/C/I. Build the car to handle the power first, suspension, tranny, rearend etc.
