What items can be taken off (ex. smog pump)

I'm using a LS1 as a donar engine for my car. I'm using a big stuff 3 for the engine & tranny. I'm not worried about emissions. What problems could I encounter taking the smog pump off.(example: belt routing)

if by smog pump you mean secondary air injection pump, then yes you can take it off, and since its driven by an electric motor you wont have to worry about belt routing.

Depending on what year LS1 you could also delete EGR too.
