What else do I need with LS6 manifold???
I bought a used LS6 mani from the other tech site and the guy was a jackass. I asked if it came with all the acessories needed for install and he said yes. Well he shipped just the manifold, no plugs? which I think are needed, no coolant crossover line??? What else am I gonna need to install this thing properly? Are the parts which are on my 2000 TA able to work with the LS6 or no? Are new fuel rails needed?? Totally lost on this, last time I buy used I guess

You'll need the front pipe and rear plugs. I'd also get new intake gaskets, might be able to use the old ones, but wouldn't take the chance of them not sealing.

Where can I get the front pipes and rear plugs at? Cost? I'm actually arguing with this jerk now over on the other forum, he is pissed I left him negative feedback Well when you don't ship everything as stated AND YOU SHIP A LS6 MANIFOLD IN GODDAMN NEWSPAPER after I asked you to bubble wrap don't you think you deserve some neg. feedback???

Check with our Sponsor Fred Beans. I think he can get you the coolant lines. The O-Rings should be fine to reuse.
Other than that, it should be an easy install if you don't break off the oil sending unit in the back.

silver- 2000 ss camaro
I would buy another oil sending unit to be on the safe side.I found mine to have a crack and had to hunt all over the place on a saturday I got lucky and got the last one at a dealer 56 bucks . better to have it in hand just in
case. my oil pressure holds around 50 at idle and around 60 driving the car, was under 40 at idle I used the same seals that were on the manifold no problems with sealing just go to the dealer for the plugs and front pipe the plugs are 5.95 each, the front pipe is 48.00Last edited by mikes ss; 12-27-2005 at 03:55 PM.
