Weiland/Lingenfelter Intakes.. Are they good on a N/A engine?? are they a good buy compared to the LS6 Intake?

    Ls6

I beat that same question around for a couple of months before going with the LS6. I read all the forums, web site research, reported gains and installion procedure. The LS6 was fair priced, GM factory part and composite material with proven gains. It was an upgrade over my 2000 LS1 intake in respect to the last years of Camaro production, thus one reason for the increase in manufactures HP rating. Also the same intake that was on Vets in the same period. LS6, 78mm TB, Cat Back made a very clear-cut difference.

heat soak is very little if any.
the air that goes threw the throttle body into the manifold doesnt even take a second.

I bought a weiand because they look better. They flow about the same and if you want more flow just grind on it. If you are going to spray, go for the weiand. Just my opinion. Also I bought mine for 200 dollars off ls1tech. Just gotta keep an eye out.
