    Water pump time

I need a water pump for my car, 98 LS1. Any1 know a good company that comes to mind. Also how long of an install is it, or is it worth giving it to a shop?

As long as you wanting a factory replacement, look at GMpartsdirect.com for one.

Very easy install, I wouldn't take it to a shop for the WP unless you struggle with a ratchet

Ya I'd go with a stock replacement. Electric ones aren't worth the money for a few hp. Not too hard to swap yourself, hell I've done it myself so can't be that bad.

    that made me laugh.

He's right though, unless you're just not mechanically inclined at all a water pump is a pretty easy swap.

2 of my friends are very mechanically NON-inclined, so badly that they can't change a flat tire
