    Water Pump

I have a coolant leak from the gaskets in the water pump. I have already purchased new gaskets but I keep seeing mention of a water pump O ring. Can someone tell me what or if I need an O ring? Thanks

Sorry I should have been more specific, the leak is from the gasket that is between the engine and the water pump, I replaced it (them) yesterday. The O ring is inside the water pump?

Yes I believe so. The O ring is for the backing plate of the pump.
