volant not perfect fit

Just put the volant CAI on my ta and it doesn't fit perfect with the MAF sensor, anyone else have this problem, any suggestions???

had the same problem that and the holes for the metal tabs to hold the whole thing in place gave me a problem (the whole thing was not centered with the car or the motor and my car was never in any accidents and has less then 10k miles so I don't think the motor moved) made new hole in the brackets and sanded the inside of the filter y piece to get it on the maf censer the thing fits like crap but dam does it look good

yea, mine's not centered perfect either, ill try sanding that y piece tho, thanks. you'd think for what that thing costs it would fit a little better, but yea it does look sick when you pop the hood!

if you have a smooth bellow pipe the piece after the maf you will have even more problem trying to get it to fit right

yea the wow factor is the only reason I didn't send it back to them and tell them to shove it but it looks so good I got a 30th anni. so its got the blue strips over the hood and with the hood open about half way just so you can see both it looks really good
