    up's and down's of straight pipe?

    well today i went and got my slp lm2 muffler taken off and ran a 3inch pipe in place of it. making it all straight pipe, its a little louder but not much. what are the ups and downs of doing what i did?

    2000 Z28 A4 Red

    little louder, little more rasp,possible emissions/noise ordinances but other than that it's what you like/dislike in the sound.
