u guy's think my tail pipes too long? pic's!

this is pic's of my new tail pipe..cost me $ 30 bucks.. i think it may be too long, u decide...
also i think it now sounds like a truck! because the guy put the end inside the dynomax, instead of over the outside.. the end he put in the muffler didn't look perfectly round and smooth either.. i think this would effect sound .... it now sounds very raspy vs drown im used too, like a lm1?which i like...
anyone 's thoughts would be nice.......thanks stunna p...

cut it back and get some cheap Ebay S.S. dual tips. I got a pair for 70 bucks shipped with a nice beveled edge.

Chop it off. I'd just have it dumped under the car where you cant see it

I would have did this to my exhaust guy if he expected me to drive home with a pipe like that sticking out of my car

I think it needs to be cut back and dumped. It would look bad imo with only one tip because you have the slots in the bumper for dual tips. On a Formula a single tip would work I think.

Out of curiostity, why did you go with the single pipe? Personally i would go with dual slash tips that tuck up nicely in bumber, or just dump it.

Generally speaking on systems that use a single muffler in the stock location a single outlet system is more efficient therefore makes more power.

the 98 SS and WS6 both came with a single outlet..besides being worth some coin in the near future it was also a good exhaust system..but with it not being symetrical i think gm moved to the 2 outlet

however...to the op ...imho it looks like shit..get a tip on there or go dual outlet

Thats a v6 exhaust though it has a turn down tip. I had the single outlet on my 98 ws6 its a straight tip not a turn down.
