TSP Rumbler vs. GMMG clones : opinions?
thanks to help from everyone in previous posts, i've pretty much narrowed down my tone search to two these two setups. i really like the GMMG...but i refuse to pay that much for the original system. i figure i could take a picture of the cat back to a shop, and have them fab a custom one for me for a fraction of the cost.
if i decide to do this...are power sticks the best mufflers to go with? i'd like to get as close to the original sound as possible. what brand/type is best...and also, what length would i want?
on the other hand, the TSP rumbler seems to be getting a good bit of positive feedback. it sounds decent to me. are there any negative stories i should hear to warn me against it?
all opinions, biased or not, are welcome. i'd love to hear what everyone thinks of these ideas, and maybe which one would be better overall.
by the way, i'm running a completely stock '99 T/A, stock manifolds, stock Y, and no plans to change them for a while.
thanks all (sorry this was so long). cheers.

the gmmg is by far the best catback I've ever heard. I'm not sure how you would copy it without having their mufflers which are the most expensive part of the system. The rest is just piping and for the most part piping is piping.

magnaflow is great for performance. i had it on my last f-body. but the tone is WEAK. hence my favor for chambered/bullet catbacks. thanks, though. ...and yeah, i bet with an "x" it would sound much meaner.

As far as chambered goes, yes the power sticks are the best choice. They're the only ones other than the sweet thunders which are a smaller inner diameter and choke flow. I'd be ready for rasp if you ever did go with a catless y, i've heard some nasty cars like that with gmmg
