    True duals without longtube headers?

just bought a 01 ss. i want to get the texas speed true dual system but have one question. do you have to have long tube headers for the true duals to connect right or can you hook them up to the stock headers?

was looking for exhaust for about 500 since thats what i have extra after the purchase. I might just buy the Tsp rumbler for now and upgrade later.

If i go with the tsp rumbler and get a off road y pipe, will the y pipe fit the stock headers?

I am fairly sure that you would have to get some sort of adaption pipe from the stock manifold to the exhaust to make up the difference in collector size and how much shorter the stocks are compared to LTs. Sure a muffler shop could do it fairly easy though.

for that system you'd have to have a shop make them work. I would either wait until you went longtubes and do them both at the same time or just buy a good quality catback. A good catback will flow and sound really nice. Most all of the sponsors carry several different brands of catback. Magnaflow is popular. The most important thing is to do a bunch of reading before hand and make sure which ever way you go suits your goals. Dont' get me wrong....duals are nice but a good catback will suit most peoples needs.
