    TPIS 1200CFM TB???? Any good?

"The TPIS Billet oval throttlebody will flow over 1200 CFM on an LS1 engine! Up to 22hp has been seen on a stock motor with this product and a modified LS6 intake. Modified motors have seen close to 30hp. The throttlebody can be installed on a stock intake with an oval to round billet aluminum adapter for a 13hp gain."

That is what it says...Does 1200cfm mean its a 90mm TB and their just making it sound bigger and better then it is? Cuz im investing in a LSX 90mm Intake and Nick Williams TB with LSX fuel rails and 42lb SVO injectors when i came across this new TB so any info on it would be appriciated!!!!!

that nick williams TB is a nice piece. I personally know nick and hes a good guy they do some amazing stuff. i dont know much about the TPIS unit but consider this. The TB may flow 1200 CFM on a flowbench but how much of that can the engine really use. a Nascar engine be it only a 358 CID motor uses almost 1200 cfm at WOT. i have never seen an actual air consumption chart for the LS but i would almost bet that it does not consume 1200 CFM's so anything more than what the engine will actual use though it may be a gain is not the best performance for the engine. the bigger TB means the bore is bigger, if you can make the Bore smaller and still feed the engine that means you will have more velocity and what you can make up for in the velocity will be much better in the long run

1200 for a stock motor is overkill.

Yeah, I doubt a lot of street motors need 1200CFM. Or else that would be one thirsty beast.

I run a 4" homemade CAI with a Amsoil cone filter, 90mm Nick Williams, FAST fuel rails, big ass injectors ( Ford), honker Walbro 255 fuel pump and 90mm FAST Intake and put down over 600 RWHP.....we dont hurt for air flow at all with that setup...1200 CFM? Like a girl with size 83DDD tig ol bitties....how in the hell are you gonna get all that in your mouth man? Overkill and selling to the uninformed bling bling crowd IMHO.
