Tons of rasp in my exhaust, what to do?

I have GMMG and Pacesetter LT's and ORY. I want new exhaust tips but i'm having a hard time finding some that are resonated. Should i just get some nice normal ones and get a bullet muffler in the I? Or will this make it too quit? I like it loud, just not raspy.

Its probably the ory thats making the rasp sound. Any chance of changing it?

I thought about it but catted ones cost a decent amount.

running an ORY isnt helping, so get some cats. Are all GMMG chambered exhaust? If so then get a muffler

Yea GMMG is chambered. The LT's shoudn't be the cause of this.

I have heard from a lot of people that GMMG sounds raspy with LT's/ORY. IT sounds good with the stock manifolds, but once you go LT's, its just too much for some reason.

Perhaps you can install some resonators to quiet some of the raspiness.

If i got the Bulliet in the I, would that work just as good as the cats?

Maybe, just something to eliminate the rasp is all you really need and that would work. Either that or put some high flow cats on there.

Do NOT do a DynoMax bullet...it does nothing for rasp and drone. Try a Borla XR-1 in the I-pipe. It will still be loud, but the quality of sound will be much better. Just my personal experience...

Things that will cause your exhaust to sound raspy:

    LT headers
    Removing the cats
    Chambered mufflers or "cherry Bombs"

    Your pretty much screwed

I spent the big bucks and added Kooks headers and their catted Y pipe to my existing GMMG. No rasp.... just mean ass sound.
