Throttle stuck open after 98 to 99-02 tb install
So I've got a question hopefully someone can answer.
I just swapped from my 98 throttle body to a p&p 99-02 TB (has slightly diff. Throttle cam shape). After the install my throttle hangs open 5-10%. I can manually pull it closed bu the moment I let go it returns right back to partially open. Just enough to hold steady around 5k RPM. Ask me how I know
So my question is..can I adjust the pedal and linkage somehow, or do I need different throttle cables, is there something I'm missing or does my 98 just need a 98 tb.
Thanks! Pics in a few.

Also, I'm starting to wonder if this is an ls1 tb. Note the port that connect to the valve cover on the upper left side. The old one it points back and the new points straight up. It didn't seem like it was something that swiveled on accident either. Any thought?

The TB cam is larger on the 2000+ TB. So chances are your TB cable is not long enough to allow it to close. Most likely you will either have to lsee if you can swap the TB cams. I don't believe that 98's had the little adjustment boxes on them.
