Think I need cats; what are the best ones out there??

My current setup is an 2000 ws6 with all the bolt ons, heads and a monster cam, a borla exhaust, slp longtubes, and the offroad pipe. I love it, and the performance is great, but I think its gonna be impossible for me to pass NY state inspection without cats (theyve become super strict). I have a few questions: first, which ones out there are the best? Will I lose any power from having them? Lastly, will it quiet the car any (Im actually hoping this is a yes because the car is way too loud now, and I cant drive it at night wothout getting pulled over. This is with the borla fully closed too)? Thanks

one more quick thing: if I get some cats, can they just be installed on my current set-up with minimal problem? And oh ya, will it quiet my car down any, itd be nice to drive it without getting pulled over

They can be installed on your Y-pipe. Just cut and clamp or weld. Yes, it will quiet your car down.
