    Is there a service engine light bypass for long tube headers and no cats? please help

    I wanna get some long tube headers but i dont want my service engine light on cause the long tubes also ill b cat less and dnt want light on cause of that is there anyway to bypass that. please help if i can get arounf it i will get some if not i guess ill have to get mids. thanksss

    your best bet would be to get the headers.... and remove the rear sensors..then tune... don't go with sims

    how would you remove the rearr sensors? im straighted piped now but i have the cats at the header with long tube wont have the cats but will have the wire for the cats but i dnt want to set the sensor off with the lt's

    Mids will set off the ses light with no cats just as long tubes will. 02 simms will work fine or get the codes tuned out.

    these guys are saying that you have o2 sensors that plug into your cats, (these are your rear o2 sensors) when you go without cats the rear o2 sensors have no where to plug into so you will get a code ( engine light). You can do two things. Have a tuner delete the codes (turn them off permanently) or you can get some o2 simulators that plug into the o2 wiring harness and send a signal to the computer tricking it into thinking the rear o2 sensors are still hooked up and working fine.

    Exactly. Luckily I never went that route. I watched a few people use them with success on different vehicles and then several people use them and they didn't even work.
