    Texas Speed Y-Pipe

I was going to order the Pacesetter LT's with TSP's (Texas Speed and Performance) catted y-pipe, but i was informed it was aluminized steel. I was hoping for stainless. Does anyone know if the Aluminized steel will hold up? Does anyone know of a stainless steel catted y-pipe for Pacesetter LT's, and into a magnaflow cat- back? Thanks

For the Y pipe I don't really think it matters that much. They don't cost too much and aren't hard to change. I have the Ebay stainless long tubes and a Borla stainless catback. My Y pipe is a customized TSP y pipe. I'm not worried about it. Should last many years.

like him I have the Ebay stainless steel LT's and I went with Pacesetter's 3" ORY and have not had any problems at all. for a y-pipe, it's not worth the cost to get it coated, etc. you will be fine...

There's been discussions on here before about em. $299+shipping for polished stainless steel. Same design as Hooker/Jet Hott.

There's a few threads about em right now on LS1Tech.com.

I have the pacesetter ceramics and the Texas speed Y pipe with cats and have had them for just about a year now and they still look good. Whether they are coated or stainless they will eventually weather and useage stain. Will stand corrected but the ceramics have the ability to retain heat thus not soaking down the starter and other units with heat. I never drive in the rain or when the roads are wet. Its not a daily driver though.
