Tail pipes on the same side.

I saw an SS with both tail pipes on the same side, and I was wondering if anyone else has seen this. I'm needing a new cat back setup, and am considering a setup like this.

I would think so too, if I had not seen it for myself, but it actually looked good. I wouldn't think it would look right on a pontiac though, since they have an indent in the bumper on both sides for tail pipes.

If I were to own a SS I would have one exhaust and one only..

The exhaust the comes right out in the middle of the rear bumper with the two "flat" or long oval tips.

IMO, you cant get a Camaro's ass end looking any better than that.

ditto. one side with twins tips looks good on a z4 or a japanese car. not ours.

I'm thinking the stock '98 SS exhaust was 2 on the left? Could also be something aftermarket, my brother has a 4" Mufflex that exits on the left only on his Z.

SLP makes a '2OTL' catback for f-bodies. That's the only one I have seen like that though. They say it is one of the quietest catbacks around.

As far as looks, I think the ass end will look awkward and unbalanced. But that's just me. Do what you want, its your car.
