    Straight Pipes?

Just curious what you guys think about this. The exhaust shop I'm getting my duals done at wants to do straight pipes off the headers into either single chamber flowmasters or sweet thunder mufflers (I haven't decided which I want yet). Is doing straight pipes ok? Do I need the x-pipe. They acted like I don't. I'm most concerned about sound. Also, which mufflers would sound better? Let me know what you guys think.

magnaflow mufflers. and the x-pipe isnt necessary but will help with flow, vibration, and sound. id say keep it in.

A merge helps even the flow and scavenge, they sound like they are being lazy. Flowmaster 40's 10's, sweet thunders all sound great, you have have headers, what diameter pipe?

Will the x-pipe make it sound different than running straight pipes?

would it be a bad thing if i just ran straight headers? it'd be just like cut outs, only a little more permenant. but would that cause problems?

You need some pipe if you plan on leaving in the o2's.
I dare you to run open headers for a month.

beats me you need enough so fresh air doesn't get to the o2 sensor while running.
