Entirely up to you. Iridiums are a bit more pricey but are a nice plug. Lots of guys on here are running NGK TR55's. Only thing to stay away from are the gimmick plugs like E3's and such.

Navy Blue Metallic- '00 Formy A4
I run iridiums in mine. That's what they call for, and since it's a PITA to change them, not having to do it for another another few years in nice.

Thankfully I was drunk....
Well....at least by the time I got to #6 and #8.
Let me say this...
A 1.75" long extension is a GODSENT for that job. Remove coilpacks (I even take off the valvecover on the passenger side since it takes a minute extra and gives my hands a little more room).

As stated, remove the coil packs -- it only takes a few minutes on each side. Worst part is the very back bolt on the passenger side. But, before you do any of that, pop the cowl seal pins up with a flat blade screwdriver. They have made me bleed more than once when wrenching on our car. No. 8 is actually easy from underneath the car, unless you have LT's. Be sure to use anti-seize on the plug threads and only torque them to 11 lb.ft.

yup i took my valve cover off too..so i could have something to hold onto so when i was trying to get #8 i didnt blow out my butt-hole
yup they are good plugs..i made the decision to run them just because i was doing headers and such and to replace them is soo cheap.

1999 Formula WS6 M6-sold- 2001 Silverado Z71
I already had the intake manifold off when I replaced my spark plugs. I definitely gave me more room to lean in and maneuver around. Certainly not a requirement but something to consider.

Imho,, time,,, if you want to waste it on installing cheap plugs, it's up to you. I run iridiums (factory gap the plugs come set @) in everthing and never had a problem. I pulled a set out of my car with 50k+ on the plugs and the electrode points were slightly worn but still intact, no odd discoloration, I run 93 octane..
