Hey, i saw a thread a while ago on the best spark plug wires to run, but i lost it now and cant find it through a search. What kind of plug wires are you guys running for your LS1s?? I have a chance to pick up a set tomorrow for 30 bucks for MSD wires, just making sure its worth it! thanks guys

MSDs are ~$60 new. $30 is a good price.

MSD's are junk! i bought a new set and two of them were bad they would clip on the plugs and not hold, my car would break up at 5,500 , I called MSD and they wouldnt take them back or replace the 2 bad wires, i couldnt find the reciept, so i bought a new set of black tyalor wires , i think thunder volts , they are awasom wires , you can tell they are 100% better over the MSD, i installed them and never had a problem again. I will never buy anthing again made by MSD!

You have stated this twice in this thread now, really no need to continue stating it in this thread.

Has nothing to do with the 740RWHP

My motor was stock at the time, procharger system only 550RWHP and when we installed the wires the inside that snaps and holds on the plug side just wasnt there, it was all the way up the jacket , we tryed to fix them, but you know its a performance car and you want it right , we got them to click but at 5,000- 5,500 rpm the motor woul break up , the wires would not hold on the plugs i was loosing spark.

when i called MSD they said no reciept no 2 wires replaced, i said ok ill never buy another msd product again , he said sorry to hear it,

My thunder volts were on my 550LS1 for 3 years and are now on my 740 LS6 no problems , Great wires

I hear ya man, that would really piss me off. Ive heard alot of good things about the thundervolts. I think im gonna try em next. Even though Ive never had probs with msd I have heard about a lot of other people having issues. I think most people buy em for the hype personally.
