    Spark Plug gapping

Ok guys i picked up some TR6 spark plugs for my nitrous set up and i was wondering what i should gap them to. Im running a 150 shot dry and i have a cam also, i dont know if that means anything.

I gap mine at .040 I wouldn't think the cam or the nitrous would change anything in that regard.

I am not 100% sure for nitrous but for the cam I am pretty sure it doesn't matter. With that said according to NGK's site it seems it's more of a matter of running a specific heat range plug rather than a particular gap that is the issue with nitrous.

With modified engines (those engines that have increased their compression) more heat is a by-product of the added power that normally comes with increased compression. In short, select one heat range colder for every 75-100 hp you add, or when you significantly raise compression. Also remember to retard the timing a little and to increase fuel enrichment and octane. These tips are critical when adding forced induction (turbos, superchargers or nitrous kits), and failure to address ALL of these areas will virtually guarantee engine damage.
So with the nitrous you are running you need to run a cold plug according to ngk.
