I wonder if they will replace plug # 8, you should mark it to make sure it is replaced !

Do it yourself, I just changed the plugs and wires in mine the other day and it wasnt to hard at all. Drivers side only takes like 30 min, the passenger side is a little harder, just take your time and you'll get it. Plus you get the satisfaction of doing it yourself.

Yeah another set of hands is always nice to have. If you do the EGR/AIR delete you have to have the block off plates and the plug for the intake manifold. Then you have to have the codes tuned out or you will have an annoying SES light. Another way to do it w/out the block off plates and the plug is to do "race style" headers and an LS6 intake, neither have provisions for the ERG/AIR. Fuel filter is no problem, 15 min max. Go to install university they have a great write up on it. Good luck.

I just noticed you have a 2002, if so you do not have EGR and you already have the LS6 intake.

Thats not to bad for a tune. To get the AIR code turned off its usually around $50-$60.

    Fuel filter $8-$10

Thats $400 including labor. Its really not that hard at all I think you can tackle it yourself man. Save the cash and go buy the tools you will need. Why do you want stock GM wires? The tr55 are alot cheaper than the AC/Delco, less than $2 a plug, but you will have to change them again in like 20K miles.

Well I dont know how much the stock GM wires are, but they are "stock LS1 6 in. - 351 ohms" The MSD wires are around 40-50 ohms and around $60.
