Soooo.... i was installing my intake
i was instaling the ls6 intake i boutght and when i took off the old manifold i broke the oil pressure sensor thingy ... so i was able to finish the install. i dont know how i did it, i just looked after i took the manifold off and i saw the sensor lying on the block. Has this ever happened to any of you guys?

from what i hear it happens to alot of people, just what ever u do, dont start the car, u gotta replace that sensor before you can run the motor

i didnt even put the manifold back on the car because the sensor would be almost impossible to do if it was on.... i feel bad with my baby in pieces

how can you avoid taking out the sending unit... i am about to do the install soo...

the thing is i unplugged it from the brake booster. idk how i broke it off. How do i avoid breaking it again tommarow after i install the manifold

i herd that you dont have to change all the collant pipes. that all you have to do is take of the tape and clamps that hold the 2 lines together and youll be fine. is that true?

Dont feel bad I did the same thing when I installed my Weiand intake I even had instructions with pictures telling me how to do everything and there was nothing said about that piece lol

...that happend to me too. I made the mistake of putting the intake back on and about a week later i see drops of oil, looks like inside my bell housing...and im about to drop the trani, when i snook my hand to the back of the intake and knew it was coming from their.
so good move on waiting and fixing it. With the socket from o'reillys made it a piece of cake, just be carfull going in.

aswome, i thought that you had to change the coolant line... hope fully i get her in nicely today . whats the best way to avoid braking the sensor when i put her in?
