Smog legal???
I was wondering what headers/ y-pipe combo which will be emissions legal. I'd love to put on a set of headers to add to the sound of my magnoflow cat-back but unfortunately I live in the crappy state of New Jersey and need to keep my 93 LT1 emissions legal.

Check with your local state laws but as far as i know Longtubes are out of the question and if you move your cats then your an automatic fail.

I used a set of edelbrock on my 95 Z, same set up as 93. Gut the cat and it will sound bad ass. If they wanna get sneeky and jack the car up and tap the cat just ram a pipe through it.

A good set of mid-lengths like Pacesetters or AS&M's will make good power. If you choose to run a cat, go with a Random Technology. I'm pushing 501rwhp through one!

in NJ they actually run a smiffer since my 93 sn't OBDII...if it was all they do is hook up the computer to check for codes...smog legal states suck.
