    SLP UD Pulley Inst Question

I have a new SLP UD Pulley ready to install. The instructions state: "Make sure that the crankshaft is recessed 2.4 to 4.48mm into the balancer bore." Is that to say the crankshaft is recessed into and not sticking (over flush) out of the balancer? Thanks

I opted for a SLP UD pulley and the cost was $213.00. UD Pulleys actually free-up HP by reducing the amount of parasite drag of the accessories such as the water pump, ac and alternator (depending on the number and type accessory you wish to underdrive). Most people (certainly not all) tend to change out the crank and leave the alternator alone. Generally they advertise 10-15 RWHP gains. Good luck

ok, mine came with the alternator pulley as well. What's the easiest way to get that thing off of there? I'm having the hardest time removing the alt pulley, and didn't know if there is an easier way to do it. Thanks!!
