    SLP Loudmouth vs Flowmaster :)

Which takes more heat in the ls1 world?? I like reading all the comments on how lm1 sounds like a dump truck with headers, and how flowmasters cant flow on a bolt on car. Which one is less hated? I actually think both sound mean as hell with long tubes and a catted Y. loudmouth 1 or 2, flowmaster 80 or 40 series mufflers.

i have both on my cars. don't really have an issue with either. the car that has flowmaster wasnt meant to be a race car. i think it has a nice sound and am not too worried about the performance. have SLP LMI on my SS and think it sounds pretty damn sweet but will probably be changing that out once i get longtubes.

First mod done to my car was a flowmaster 80 series.

I have the LM2 with Kooks LTS/ORY with no cats. I don't find mine raspy at all and get compliments on how "badass" it sounds all the time.

It's not terribly loud at anything below 3K and at WOT it screams.

lm1 is just obnoxiously loud... you can't really get a good idea of how loud it is by the video's...
